Karen Bearden

local advocate advisor Karen Bearden is an active volunteer, supporter of local farms and local food, and advocate for the Earth. She volunteers for Triangle Land Conservancy, has organized two 350.org events in Raleigh, is on the board of The Center for Education, Imagination, and the Natural World, and serves on the development committee for Audubon NC. She is a member of Slow Food, Slow Money, Carolina Farm Stewardship Association, and Center for Environmental Farming Systems.
